Rails of Fury is a 3D, high-speed, on-rails platformer made in Unity by a team of 5 students attending the Game Design program at Vancouver Film School, Canada.
Mount Mondo's winding caves crackle with excitement as Jace Wango returns for Rails of Fury. This high-speed, record-breaking event promises adrenaline, drama, and daring stunts in extreme para-karting.
Rails of Fury is an extreme sporting event sponsored by Crimson Ox Energy Drinks, featuring their star athlete Jace Wango attempting to break all paracarting world records in a single run. The player's goal is to break as many records as possible by grinding, track switching, and performing stunts by the course's end.
Responsible for implementing the core gameplay mechanics, including air gliding, track switching, ramp jumps, score systems, and stunts.
Implemented seamless level transitions using asynchronous level loading.
Integrated gamepad vibration feedback using the XInputDotNet Framework.
Designed and programmed the user interface for the game.
Integrated the audio assets and used reverb volumes and reverb filters to add reverb to the ambient, paralinguistic, and all primary sound effects.
Integrated the animation and art assets into the game.
